DETROIT — Detroit’s music-based lifestyle company, WRKSHP, in partnership with fellow Detroit label The Circle Management and Entertainment will be hosting a 3-on-3 basketball tournament at the ‘Monroe Street Midway’ for the release of their joint music compilation ‘BCK 2 WRK.’
WRKSHP is kicking off its first music project with artists from its label services company in conjunction with The Circle’s roster of talent to showcase the city’s emerging artists. Along with the music dropping and the tournament, WRKSHP will also be releasing its second product drop that is themed after the Motor City.
Merchandise will be available on site along with entertainment by Detroit DJ Killa Squid spinning, and multidisciplinary artist Sheefy McFly doing a giveaway. WRKSHP and The Circle artists from the project will be participating in the tournament and engaging with fans.
WRKSHP and The Circle will also be giving school supplies to Davison Elementary School.

RUN OF SHOW: 12:00 PM – Event Starts with entertainment provided by Detroit DJ Killa Squid
12:15 PM – 3-on-3 basketball tournament begins
1:45 PM – 3-on-3 basketball tournament ends
2:00 PM – Detroit artist Sheefy McFly will be doing a giveaway
