
Part-Time Police Officer, Account Clerk and Electrician positions among vacancies
Wayne County seeks qualified candidates to fill at least 100 positions in several departments and elected offices.
During this year’s State of the County Address Wayne County Executive Warren C. Evans said working in “government is a calling” and encourages anyone interested in a position serving the interests of Wayne County residents to apply.
“I’ve dedicated my career to public service in Wayne County and have personally found it to be a rewarding experience,” said Executive Evans. “I encourage anyone in search of a gratifying career to check out the positions we have available. We are looking for talented, service-minded men and women to help deliver good government to Wayne County residents.”
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to fill vacant part – time police officer positions in the Wayne County Courts and Jail System. The positions pay $20 per hour and retired police officers are encouraged to apply.
