Unique engineering summer camp for Detroit-area students

The University of Detroit Mercy (UDM) College of Engineering and Science offers a unique summer camp for high school students interested in engineering, robots and wind turbines, July 13 to 24.
The camp is jointly taught between UDM and Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) with instructors from Georgia Tech joining UDM instructors.
Participants will:

• Learn the 3-D CATIA design software (used by Ford, Boeing and Microsoft),
• Designing projects on renewable energy, robotics and automobiles using 3-D printers, and
• Collaborate in teams with a parallel program at Georgia Tech.
