The Parade Company announced today that Shinola will make their debut in the 90th America’s Thanksgiving Parade® presented by Art Van. Shinola will unveil their signature piece in the parade, a giant 30’x 60’ American flag, that will be carried by Shinola team members down the nearly three-mile parade route on Thanksgiving morning. Additional employees and family members will accompany the flag on foot and on Shinola bicycles down the parade route.

We look forward to welcoming the Shinola team to the parade family on Thanksgiving morning.”

Shinola bike riders and walkers will wear black bomber jackets with the signature Shinola lightning bolt on the back.

“We look forward to participating in one of Detroit’s most beloved family traditions on Thanksgiving morning,” said Shinola’s Jacques Panis. “The entire team is excited to bring a new element to the parade this year.”

This year’s theme is “90 Years Together,” marking a major milestone for the storied parade that is broadcast in more than 170 cities across the country. Recognized as one of the best Thanksgiving parades in the country by U.S. News & World Report Travel, America’s Thanksgiving Parade presented by Art Van will be held on Thursday, November 24. The parade will be featured on WDIV-TV Local 4, including a one-hour national broadcast reaching more than 170 major cities across the country. Radio coverage will begin with, A Prelude to The Parade hosted by Paul W. Smith, from 6 a.m.-9:30 a.m. on News/Talk 760 WJR. The LIVE play-by-play of America’s Thanksgiving Parade® presented by Art Van can be heard on 104.3 WOMC with Bobby Mitchell & Stacey DuFord from 10 a.m.- Noon.
