The event will have various performances, displays of artwork, food upon entry, and several giveaways.The Connection serves the purpose of raising money for Detroit Public high school seniors. General admission to this event is $15 for the early bird special and $20 after. Reduced tickets for $10 are available for those who donate a case of water to the Flint Water Donations campaign at Pedicure & Shoes 2 Go (243 W. Congress St. Ste 102 Detroit, MI 48226) prior to the event. $15 tickets will be available the day of the event for those who donate a case of water to the cause at the event. Entry to this event includes access to live performances, complimentary entrees, and drinks.
The Collab hosted a charity-networking event in December of 2015 to raise money for local Detroit charities during the holiday season. This time around, the group of Detroit entrepreneurs want to shine light on the many talented artists in the city of Detroit. Poets, rappers, and singers will take the stage to perform original content throughout the night. Photographers, painters, and other visual artists will decorate the venue with their original pieces while some artists will create new artwork during the event.
