Mayor Brenda Lawrence will provide overview of past year as well as vision for future
(SOUTHFIELD, Mich.) – Southfield Mayor Brenda L. Lawrence will deliver the 2014 State of the City address at the Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting on Monday, March 17 at 11:30 a.m. at the Westin Hotel-Southfield, 1500 Town Center.
The 2014 Southfield State of the City Address is sponsored by the Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce, dbusiness, Lawrence Technological University and Providence Hospital. The event will include Mayor Lawrence’s overview of the past year as well as her vision for the coming year and beyond. The State of the City will also include the annual update from the Chamber of Commerce featuring Executive Director Tanya Markos-Vanno and the induction of the 2014 Chamber Board of Directors. The event offers guests the opportunity to network with local business owners, residents and City of Southfield staff and elected officials. Ticket prices are $45per person for Southfield chamber members, $55 for non-chamber members including lunch. Tickets purchased after February 27 are $50 per for person for chamber members and $60 for non-chamber members.
