In May, JPMorgan Chase Foundation announced a $100 Million 5 year commitment to the City of Detroit. Tosha Tabron was the Detroit lead responsible for planning and deploying $25 million in philanthropic investments to over a dozen Detroit based non-profits this year. Tosha has statewide responsibilities and will allocate an additional $20Million in philanthropic investments over the next 4 years.
Tosha is passionate about serving the underserved. She spent the last 10 years of her banking career providing capital and philanthropic resources to organizations with a mission to transform neighborhoods through comprehensive, thoughtful community development projects and programs.
She currently serves on 4 boards and 5 loan and investment committees including the Center for Empowerment and Economic Development (CEED), Community Development Advocates of Detroit (CDAD), Bank ON Detroit and the Detroit Regional Workforce Fund.
Tosha is a Leadership Detroit XXV (35) graduate and a Michigan Chronicle 2010 Woman of Excellence honoree. In her spare time she mentors young black women pursuing public relations careers.
