Nerds Xpress offers full managed IT services, and enables businesses by showing them how to leverage technology and become more productive and efficient, in effort to increase earnings. In addition, Nerds Xpress can also enhance security and mobility, by helping business owners embrace mobility, working from wherever, whenever. Barlow’s company is one of few managed service providers in the area that has spearheaded the shift toward cloud technologies.
A native Detroiter of humble beginnings, Barlow’s entrepreneurial track began at 13, as an independent contractor servicing Detroit businesses before forming Nerds Xpress; employing several individuals. “Our passion and our focus has always been to help businesses, big or small, grow and succeed”, says Barlow. He visions being part of the “Detroit Come Back” by empowering current and new businesses. Barlow is an activist, philanthropist and an exemplary leader for entrepreneurs to admire.
