Maurielle Lue is an Emmy Award Winning Reporter at FOX2 News, and among the youngest television journalists in the Detroit Market. From the Anchor desk to the streets of Detroit she does it all… covering the stories you care about most, yet bringing a compassion not often acknowledged in television news coverage.
You can watch Maurielle’s daily news reports on FOX 2 NEWS at 5/6/10pm and Sunday mornings on FOX 2 News Weekend. Maurielle Lue joined FOX 2 News in December 2011, and has already received four more prestigious EMMY Award nominations from Michigan’s, National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Just 18 months out of college she was asked to join the local ABC News team (WEWS-TV) in Cleveland Ohio. Many of Maurielle’s Cleveland reports expanded to national coverage, but none like the unthinkable: Lebron James taking his talents to South Beach! Maurielle was front and center as outraged fans burned jerseys, defaced landmarks, and wept in the streets. Her live reports were featured on ESPN.
Maurielle’s genuine compassion for people and heart for making a difference is what truly sets her apart in this market.
