John James is vice president of operations at James Group International where he covers six operations around the Midwest and South region of the country. John was an Aviation Officer in the United States Army. He studied Law and Systems Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point where he was awarded Master Fitness Trainer and Air Assault Qualification.
John obtained his Master’s of Science in Supply Chain Management from Penn State University. He is an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. John is vigorous with Big Brothers Big Sisters and the American Red Cross. He is an Army Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and has been nominated for MEPCOM Officer of the Year for a second consecutive year. His awards include: Two Air Medals, an Army Commendation Medal, a National Defense Service Medal, an Iraqi Campaign Medal with two Campaign Stars, a Global War on Terror Service Medal and an Army Service Medal.
