Advisory Specialist Marsh & McLennan
Alexis Harmon is an Advisory Specialist in Marsh’s Detroit office within the Casualty Insurance Practice. In this role, she is responsible for analyzing information and data provided by clients, strategizing for initial presentations with clients and other parties involved regarding the insurance renewal process, identifying potential problems in transactions and investigating details.
Her work experience includes both domestic and global casualty placements for Fortune 500 companies including automotive suppliers/manufacturers, public entity, and chemical industries. Alexis joined Marsh in 2006 after an internship in the Risk Analyst Program for 2 consecutive summers. She moved from the Risk analyst program into a Broker Representative role where she continued to excel and expanded her insurance market knowledge.
Two years later, she was promoted again to an Associate Advisory Specialist role where she took on more direct client brokering responsibilities. This year, she took on several new clients and moved into a full time Advisory Specialist role where she continues to broker insurance for several Fortune 500 companies, and has an expanded role where she is responsible for developing new business opportunities as well.
