Cara Griffin is Senior Staff Counsel in the Office of General Counsel of Chrysler Group LLC, where she serves as lead counsel for international law matters in connection with the Company’s legal compliance program. Cara directs and manages anti-corruption, export sanctions and controls, antiboycott and customs law matters while providing strategic legal counsel for a variety of domestic and international business units.  In this role, she has traveled extensively around the world in furtherance of the Company’s compliance program.
 
Before joining Chrysler Group in 2010, Cara served as in-house counsel for both Taubman Centers and Comerica Bank providing transaction and corporate legal counsel.
Cara received her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Spelman College (GA) and her juris doctor from Wayne State University Law School.  She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.  Cara enjoys traveling, pilates, reading and spending time with family and friends. She also volunteers as an advisor of the Co-Ette Club, Inc., a leadership development organization for young ladies in high school.
