 Dr. Bobbie Hayes Goodrum has been the principal of Cloverdale School and a special education supervisor for the Farmington Public Schools for the past 7 years. This is her second year also serving as the principal of Visions Unlimited. Dr. Goodrum’s focus is on increasing expectations and improving outcomes and the quality of education for students receiving special education support.
Dr. Goodrum holds a B.S. from Howard University, an M.A. from Trinity University, an Sp.A. from Eastern Michigan University and a Ph.D. from Oakland University. Dr. Goodrum is on the Executive Board for the Special Education Administrators of Oakland County and the Board of Directors for the Michigan Association of Administrators of Special Education. Dr. Goodrum is very active in the community. She is currently a Midwest Region Co-Journalist for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and is also the corresponding secretary for the Southfield Alumnae Chapter. Dr. Goodrum is a mentor with the Delta GEMS program and has served as the chair of that program.
