Marshalls Brings Good Stuff Social Club to Detroit for a Day of Empowerment and Connection

Marshalls is bringing its Good Stuff Social Club to Detroit on Saturday, Aug. 9, for a day of inspiration, connection and creative fuel, all free of charge. The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at BasBlue, a Midtown community hub known for empowering women, and promises to bridge the gap between vision boards and reality with expert-led sessions, networking and hands-on workshops.

Hosted by Amber Lewis of Social N The City, the day kicks off with Vivian Tu, CEO of Your Rich BFF, breaking down how to bounce back from financial setbacks. Detroit’s own Meagan Ward will then moderate a panel of local artists including Destinee Rose, Bo Shepherd and Rachelle Baker on building businesses rooted in creativity and identity. Attendees can also speed network to Detroit beats with DJ Rimarkable, rediscover their confidence through collage art, and experience one-on-one color analysis sessions designed to help them shine, literally and figuratively.

With previous stops in New York, Atlanta, Chicago and Houston, Marshalls is infusing this edition with Detroit soul, partnering with powerhouse locals to create a cozy, conversational vibe complete with goodie bags, Marshalls gift cards and food from a women-owned business.

Sessions are free but limited, and sign-ups are now open at MarshallsGoodStuffSocialClub.com. Whether you are looking to strengthen your finances, turn your art into income or simply meet like-minded women, this is where vision meets action, Detroit style.
