DETROIT, MI – R&B artist K’Jon’s latest single “One Thing In Common” will set the summer on fire; starting with a video shoot that involves the community while supporting Detroit area businesses. Filming begins Saturday, April 26 at City Wings restaurant located at 2986 West Grand Blvd just off the Lodge (M-10) Service Drive.
The Grammy-nominated crooner says, “It’s a family affair; we want all Detroiters with diverse backgrounds and ethnicities to show the City the way we know it to be.”
The open casting call starts at 10am and is calling for friendly people ages 21-35, all ethnicities and backgrounds. Some video experience is required and participants should be makeup ready, dress colorfully in casual wear with no gym shoes. Detroit- business owner, Grant Lancaster (City Wings) says, “This is an opportunity to let people know where we are, what we serve and that we’re a part of this community as well.”
City Wings will provide free samples of their menu items from 11am-2pm during the video shoot. Their menu features 18 varieties of Buffalo wings, homemade sides and desserts. It was chosen because of its location and Mr. Lancaster’s commitment to the City of Detroit,” says K’Jon. “He’s a firefighter and a Detroit businessman; what better partner to showcase what Detroit is all about.”
