As the Detroit Lions pack up at the end of the season, the question in the air is will Jim Schwartz return as head coach for the Detroit Lions? According to reports from ESPN, Schwartz is passionate about returning and completing his “unfinished business” however he doesn’t even know if he will return.
ESPN:

“I’d certainly like to be back,” Schwartz said Sunday after the Lions lost 14-13 to the Vikings, blowing a fourth-quarter lead for the sixth time in the past seven games.
“I feel like we have unfinished business here. We’ve come a long way in these years, but we still have ground that we can make and I’m anxious to have a chance to be able to do that.”

The Lions started the season 6-3 as a shoe in for the NFC North playoffs before they hit a losing streak finishing the season 7-9.
No official word on when a meeting will happen with the Ford Family that owns the Lions, but sources say Schwartz’s future in Detroit could be decided as early as Monday.
