Invoke Holiday Cheer with Holiday Cocktails

Tis’ the season for cocktails and more cocktails! What better time for libations than the holiday when people won’t judge you and chalk it up to holiday cheer. Get into the holiday spirit with these festive cocktails from William Grant & Sons. The family-owned distillery with a diverse portfolio of award-winning, super-premium liquor brands has seven cheerful cocktails that will make any get-together merry and bright.
 
Royal Highlander created by Glenfiddich Ambassador, Allan Roth
2 parts Glenfiddich 12 Year Old
½ part Sweet Vermouth
½ part Cocchi Americano
Benedictine rinse
Sparkling Wine, to top
Pour ½ ounce of Benedictine in a coupe, swirl, and discard.  Add remaining ingredients except the sparkling wine to a mixing glass and stir with ice.  Strain into the Benedictine rinsed coup.  Top with approximately an ounce of dry or off-dry sparkling wine.  Celebración (Punch- Serves 4) by Jaime Salas, National Milagro Ambassador
6 parts Milagro Silver
12 parts Guava Nectar (Pink)
2 parts Ginger Simple Syrup
3 parts Lime Juice
Combine all ingredients in a punch bowl and mix. Top with Club Soda (Top Chico) or Prosecco and garnish with lime wheels and white edible flowers to resemble guava flowers.

2 parts Hendrick’s Gin
1 ½ parts Fresh Lemon Juice
½ part Vanilla Simple Syrup
2 parts Plumb Bitters
1 Part Brandie amarena cherry syrup
Shake all ingredients together with ice.  Double strain into chilled and sugar-coated coupe glass. Garnish with half a powdered sugar rim and one cherry with a tiny amount of syrup at the bottom of the glass.

5 parts Tullamore D.E.W. Original
1 part Sweet Vermouth
¾ part Pedro Ximénez Sherry
2 Dashes of chocolate bitters
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass, fill with ice & stir until chilled.  Strain into a coupe glass, express lemon oils & add garnish.
Apples & Honey
1 ¼ parts Drambuie
2 parts Kosher Pressed Apple Cider
¾ part Lime Juice
1 small pinch Kosher Salt
1 dash Angostura Bitters
1 part Kosher Sparkling White Wine (For dryer Cocktail 2 parts Sparkling wine)
Combine liquid ingredients and salt minus wine into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain over ice. Top with Sparkling wine and garnish with thin apple slices and mint.
Scofflaw
2 parts Hudson Manhattan Rye
1 part dry vermouth
½ part fresh lemon juice
½ part grenadine
Add ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake to mix and chill, then strain into a cocktail glass. Express lemon oils from twist over a drink, and garnish with lemon twist.
Icelandic Egg Nog
1 ¾ parts Reyka Vodka
3 ½ parts Egg Nog
Combine ingredients into rocks glass and garnish with grated nutmeg.
