What: A career pathways event that will provide hundreds of young Detroiters with fulltime jobs or apprenticeships, many of them receiving offers on-the-spot.
My Brother’s Keeper Alliance (MBK Alliance), a nonprofit born out of President Obama’s call to action to expand opportunities for young men of color, is bringing its Pathways to Success: Boys and Young Men of Color Opportunity to Detroit.
When: Monday, November 14, 2016. Event program begins at 9 AM.

Hundreds of young men of color seeking one of the many employment opportunities available.
Visuals: In addition to job interviews, local businesses will be on hand to provide ties and jackets to job candidates who may need them, as well as haircuts. Candidates who are offered a job at the event will have their photo taken with an “I got hired today” sign.
Registration: Individuals wishing to attend the event can register online at detroit.mbkalliance.org. Walk-ins will be welcomed, but registering online will make the process faster.
