
The funeral for journalist Angelo B. Henderson was held Monday at Greater Grace Temple on 7 mile in Detroit. Henderson was a radio host on News Talk WCHB 1200 AM and 99.9 FM.
Speakers included Deputy Mayor Isiah McKinnon, Council President Brenda Jones, Rep. John Conyers, Police Chief James Craig, Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano, State Reps. Rashida Talib and Fred Durhal, State Sen. Bert Johnson, attorney Richard Bernstein, WWJ’s Vicki Thomas and former Detroit News Managing Editor Everett J. Mitchell, Henderson’s closest friend who introduced Henderson during college to his future wife Felecia Henderson. U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Damon Keith was also in attendance.

Henderson, 51, died Feb. 15 at his Pontiac home. Henderson is survived by his wife, Felecia and their adult son, Grant.
