WHEN: Wednesday, November 23, 2016 starting at 8 a.m. to assemble the cold portion of the meal and on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday , November 24, 2016 starting at 6 a.m. to package the hot portion of the meal for distribution to partnering sites where door- to-door delivery of individual hot meals start at 8:30 a.m.
WHERE: Valley Services ,1980 Bagley, Detroit, Michigan 48216, at the corner of Rosa Park Blvd, south of Michigan Avenue, near old Tiger Stadium and Corktown.
DAAA Holiday Meals on Wheels Thanksgiving Day delivery distribution sites in great need of volunteers:

WHO: DAAA Holiday Meals on Wheels feeds thousands of homebound seniors during the holidays and is primarily supported through private and community funds. This Thanksgiving, meal deliveries are made possible by the contributions of the Ford Motor Company Fund and the Detroit Area Agency on Aging. Holiday Meals on Wheels is currently providing hot nutritious meals on Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and Labor Day because “Hunger Takes No Holiday”
