The Health Fair will include blood pressure screenings, nutritional counseling, dance demonstrations for senior citizens, Detroit Medical Center’s Ask the Doctor, Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan’s cooking demonstration, Detroit Area Agency on Aging, Boxing Demonstrations for youth provided by certified boxing instructors, raffles and more.
City of Detroit Health Director Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, District 1 Councilman James Tate and boxing legends Tommy “Hitman” Hearns and Hilmer Kenty will also be attendance.
This event is free and open to the public.
