“We’re thrilled that so many local celebrities were able to take part in Hard Rock Cafe Detroit’s awesome project,” said Dan Glazer, General Manager of Hard Rock Cafe Detroit. “Each celebrity had such diverse views as to what their most memorable moment in 2014 was, and we are proud to share these memories with their fans and the local community.”
Specs Howard School of Media Arts graduates and now employees, Abby Cook of Madison Heights and Jake Webb of Lincoln Park, produced the video montage. The production process included coordinating schedules, filming, and editing together the final product for Metro Detroiter’s to witness live on New Year’s Eve. This portion of the programming will be in addition to the 3D Animated Projection Mapping scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Created and executed by NewD Media, the dynamic software will unfold on two stories of the Compuware Building facing Woodward Avenue.
