
This is the first of three similar scheduled GDYT sessions; others will be held on May 24th and June 1st.
More than 11,000 youth, ages 14-24, filled out applications for 8,000 jobs expected to be available this summer. In its augural year, GDYT employed newly 5,600 youth.

NOTE:The youth for this event have been pre-selected out of the applications that have been received for the GDYT Program. While the job application process has closed, employers are encouraged to commit to providing a summer work experience for at least one youth and can sign up at www.gdyt.org. The cost of sponsoring one youth work experience is $1,700, half of which can be provided by GDYT if the employer cannot pay the full cost.
