In addition, every girl is paired with an adult mentor.

“I’m overwhelmed with excitement for the number of participants who came out today to walk, run and race in Give and Get Fit,” said Rhonda Walker, founder and president of the Rhonda Walker Foundation.

“A little over a year ago our event planning committee suggested we bring Give and Get Fit to Detroit. Tunes out it that was the best decision

The backdrop of the Detroit River, Renaissance Center, yoga and pilates instructional sessions and the assortment of healthy living exhibitors and vendors providing healthcare information and screenings in Rivard Plaza added to a magical day to Give and Get Fit for the Rhonda Walker Foundation,” Walker added.
