LaToya A. Henry
LaToya A. Henry is a rising entrepreneur that comprises one half of the leadership team that originated WardHill Omni Media LLC. WardHIll is a communications, public relations, marketing, branding and strategic management firm. As the Managing Partner, LaToya is responsible for creating innovative communications campaigns, developing marketing and branding strategies, and fostering media relationships that are beneficial to WardHill’s clients.
Before starting WardHill, LaToya served as the Communications and Youth and Education Director for the Detroit Branch NAACP. LaToya holds a Master’s of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Florida A&M University and a Bachelor of Arts in English, Language and Literature from the University of Michigan.
LaToya currently serves as the chairperson for the Detroit Branch NAACP and Detroit NAACP Youth Council ACT-SO programs. She has also served as the Secretary-Treasurer for Michigan Forward and as an Assistant Editor for “Our Life in the D,” an online news site that featured stories written by high school journalists. LaToya is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Southfield Alumnae Chapter. She is the youngest of five siblings and the daughter of Marion and Selena Henry.
