Grades 4-6 Intermediate School Principal
The Ferndale Public Schools, Ferndale, MI, located in metro Detroit, seeks to fill two elementary principal positions to begin in the 2010-2011 school year. Qualified applicants will have teaching experience in an elementary setting, and should be energetic, dynamic leaders familiar with child development, positive behavior support, character education, welcoming of parent involvement, and knowledgeable of effective teaching and learning strategies. Masters in Educational Leadership or Educational Administration, preferred.
K-6 Magnet School Principal – Qualified applicants will have experience in an Open Classroom Program setting, both on the teaching and administrative level, preferred. In addition, experience with Multi-Age Programming is preferred.
Grades 4-6 Intermediate School Principal – Qualified applicants will have experience at both the teaching and administrative level leading an upper elementary school.
