All 12 EAA schools will host a day of exciting activities, food, music, giveaways and fun for the communities they serve. Parents will have the opportunity to tour the school, meet the principals and enroll their student on the spot. These events are particularly for Detroit-area parents who are still seeking a new school for the 2016-17 school year.
“I am extremely excited for the first day of school, which is just a few short weeks away,” said EAA Chancellor Veronica Conforme. “It is critically important for us to get students eager to return to the classroom and this is just one of the many ways we intend to do that. I encourage all Detroit students and families to come out and enjoy the day.”
