Motor City Rags is a company that sprouted from just a vision and a dream. As a kid growing up in the city of Detroit back in the late 70’s and 80’s  Noel Beitner developed a love and devotion to the area hanging out on Belle Isle and attending festivals at Hart Plaza, not to mention attending concerts at Cobo Hall and Joe Louis Arena. Beitner remember watching people sell t-shirts out of the trunks of their cars and it gave him the idea of starting his own custom apparel company.
Of course, this dream did not come to fruition until years later. It started when just days prior to the passing of Beitner’s dad, they had a deep conversation and he told Betiner that he wanted him to “Follow [my] passion and dreams.” God opened the door for me in September of 2014 with the opportunity to start Motor City Rags, which was humbling as I remembered that talk with my father years ago.” Betiner said.
Beitner continued. “I am very proud to say that we are a family owned and operated Detroit founded internet only company which produces custom direct to garment t-shirts. We can produce just one or many shirts in a single order. To best meet your custom design needs, we have the best Detroit based graphic artist available working alongside us. Sweatshirts, hoodies, t-shirts and more are all options available for printing.”
