Detroit’s Trinity International Film Festival celebrates10th Anniversary

Christopher Nolen IIThe 10th Annual Trinity International Film Festival (TI Film Festival) has become Detroit’s signature event for independent filmmakers worldwide to showcase their movies. This year’s festival will feature over 50 films, from various countries and will take place August 12-13, 2016, at The Carr Center, in Detroit (311 E. Grand River, Detroit, Michigan 48226). “We are elated to be celebrating our 10 year anniversary. It’s exciting to have longevity with a Detroit-based festival that has grown tremendously, and has made an impact worldwide,” says festival director, Marshalle Montgomery.
Detroit is home to many talented filmmakers, and the Trinity International Film Festival will highlight the local work of the following Directors: Charlene Jeter, Anthony T. Green, Adam Burns, Carlonese Powell, Kathi J. Moore, Darryl Terrell, Arthur Cartwright, Shawntay Dalon, Janet Pound, Dave Kilgore and Producer, Raymond Rolak.
Aspiring actors, writers, and directors will have an opportunity to sharpen their skills at two workshops lead by noted Writer/Producer/Director Christopher Nolen II and Emmy Award winning Actor, Obba Babatundé.
Christopher Nolen II, has produced feature-length films such as “Four Seasons”, which stars Robin Givens, Keith Robinson, Christian Keyes, Jazsmin Lewis, and Mel Jackson and “72 Hours,” which features an amazing star-studded ensemble cast, including Timon Kyle, Erica Hubbard, Harry J. Lennix, Terri J. Vaughn, Brian Hooks, Cynda Williams, Tangi Miller, Brely Evans and Chyna Layne.
