Detroit Public Schools Foundation launches 100 DPS Alumni Who Care Campaign

The Detroit Public Schools Foundation to-date has registered more than sixty (60) DPS alumni for the inaugural networking event, 100 DPS Alumni Who Care, and are looking for more. The first networking meeting is Monday, March 23, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the University of Michigan Detroit Center, 3663 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48201.

The goal of the program is to initially reach one-hundred DPS alumni to sponsor student programs and events. 100 DPS Alumni Who Care is a group of Detroit Public Schools alumni who care about the education of Detroit Public Schools students and want to do their part to support Detroit Public Schools programs. The goal is to help the Detroit Public Schools Foundation create and enhance educational opportunities for Detroit Public Schools students.
100 DPS Alumni Who Care is for you if:

  • You don’t have time to volunteer but want to help Detroit students in need
  • You can commit to one hour twice a year
  • You are involved with other groups but are interested in meeting other successful DPS Alumni who want to make a difference in providing quality programs and opportunities for Detroit Public School students
  • You want your donations to be stewarded to ensure the funds reach our students
  • You want your $100 donation to become a part of a larger amount joining together with other DPS alumni-creating a powerful impact for Detroit students.
