All Detroit Public Schools and programs will be closed on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 due to inclement weather. Of particular concern are forecast continued severe temperature and wind chill conditions.
DPS Central Office operations will shut down effective 1:30 p.m. today and remain closed through Tuesday, Jan. 7th. As Tuesday is a payday for DPS employees, all paychecks for those employees who do not have direct deposit are being mailed today (Monday) via the U.S. Post Office.
