Enjoy some exceptional music for a great cause at a beautiful location. The Cochrane House Luxury Historic Inn is hosting their seasonal Underground Soul Series to benefit the Cochrane House Non-Profit. This organization is dedicated to the advancement of underserved at-risk youth through various curriculum-based educational and entrepreneurial initiatives.
The first event of the season is the Mother’s Day Night of Jazz with saxophonist Jeffrey Ponders II. Participants will enjoy a chef-prepared cuisine, wine, and networking. The fun takes place on Thursday, May 9, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the evening. This event is also on the heels of when The Cochrane House Luxury Historic Inn opened its doors to the public last year.
Celebrate the women who lead and make a difference in your life and enjoy an evening of cuisine and jazz for a wonderful cause.
“With the Cochrane House Non-profit summer music series, we want to highlight local musicians, while raising funds for youth development and community programming. This is a win-win for the community and the artist involved. Not only is there so much talent in our own backyard, that we hope to showcase in an intimate venue, all the proceeds from the event series will go towards the non-profit’s programming. The tickets are tax deductible for the patrons of the event,” said Francina James, Board Member.
