44 Films from 14 Countries Featured at the 8th Annual Trinity International Film Festival

Detroit- (July, 2014) The 8^th Annual Trinity International Film Festival (TI Film Festival) is excited to announce their “Official Selections” for 2014. This year’s festival will showcase over 40 films, from 14 different countries and will take place August 1-2, 2014 at The Carr Center, in Detroit ( 311 E. Grand River, Detroit, Michigan 48226). “We have a variety of feature and short films for people to enjoy, everything from action, drama, animation, and comedy, we definitely have movies that will capture your attention,” says festival co-director, Marshalle Montgomery. The TI Film Festival has become Detroit’s signature event for independent filmmakers worldwide to showcase their movies. Our vision is “To provide a multicultural festival experience through screenings of culturally diverse independent films” says festival co-director, Gregory Taylor. The festival will also host a special screening for youth, that will be free an open to the public, onSaturday, August 2nd, from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Detroit is home to many talented filmmakers, and Trinity International Film Festival will highlight some of the work of our very own local Directors including: Ashley Kay Evans, Mida Chu, Anthony Green, Darren Brown, Walter V. Marshall, Carlonese Powell and Gregory Dockery, II and Producer, Raymond Rolak.

Winners of this year’s best feature and short film categories will receive a dynamic prize pack from Sony which will include more than $3,500 worth of Sony Vegas editing software, sound effects, and more!
