2014 Michigan Chronicle Men of Excellence Honorees Announced

Detroit, Michigan – The Michigan Chronicle, the region’s oldest and most respected African American newspaper recently announced its 2014 Men of Excellence Honorees.
The men selected as this year’s Men of Excellence will join the ranks of positive African American men such as: Louis Green, President and CEO of the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Company, Reverend Wendell Anthony, President of the NAACP Detroit chapter, and Joe Dumars, President of Basketball Operations, Detroit Pistons. The fifty honorees were nominated by Michigan Chronicle readers on the basis of being an African-American male community leader, executive or business owner, proven success within his profession/industry, positive role model whose contributions encourage others and active in community service or organizational involvement.
